Low abrasion formula DBCS cards are designed and tested by USPS Engineering for use with the DBCS Low Abrasion Augers. Cards are manufactured with high opacity and a dense molecular structure to prevent rapid wear while passing against the auger and through the optical sensors. Cards are designed to work on any DBCS machine, even those yet upgraded with the new augers yet. The very low reject rate is due to the new formulation.
