Fine cull reject usually feeds from the AFCS chute into a 1046 canvas hamper. A work room floor employee wheels the hamper back over to the recycling conveyor of the barney system for reprocessing. The AFCS/Barney transfer conveyor accomplishes this task without worker intervention. 16 gauge, 6" tall stainless steel guard rails keep the rejected mail on the 8"W x 104"L system, 1/6 HP 115 V, single phase, 60 Hz., 88FPM drive. Four swivel locking casters. Entrance height 34½", discharge height 30" (decline angle is approximately 3°) legs adjustable ± 6".
